The Humble Servants Project

Mission Statement

The Humble Servants Project has been formed to help families with the loss of property and income due to the loss of an income earner to a death caused by an illness.  This also involves families who've lost their home or housing due to acts of tragedy such as fire, floods or hurricanes etc.  We are raising funds in four areas; Illnesses such as cancer, Disasters such as fires, floods, earthquakes and hurricanes, Child Abuse and last but not least, the homeless as this is a very pressing issue here in Vancouver, British Columbia not to mention many other areas throughout the globe.

Everyone is treated equally here, there are no waiting lines and no discrimination.  Everyone has the opportunity to get the help that they need, just as everyone has the right to contribute their thoughts and comments within our blog.  We understand that at first as we build this project that we are not going to be able to help everyone immediately but we will do our best to make every effort.  There are other affiliations of local community help we will be networking with.  We have dedicated ourselves to be as selfless as possible only covering minimal expenses as they arise.  Therefore all funds we raise will not be absorbed into the project, they will be safe guarded in a trust fund to be redistributed to those in need.  Our breakdown of fund distribution is shown below.

Disability and Serious Illness

So much in life depends upon your good health: the ability to support your family, keep your home, educate your children and live independently in retirement. A smart financial plan should make provisions for potential illness and accidents, so you can live fully and confidently, knowing that your family, lifestyle and financial assets are protected.

Unforeseen Tragedies

After a fire, hurricane, flood, or earthquake we immediately declare that this was a natural disaster, an act of God. Then we ask if we have insurance, or how soon will the goverment or U.N. come to help? And these are repeated and echoed in the media around the globe over and over again.

Stopping Child Abuse

Every day there are children living hungry, neglected, sexually exploited, feeling unloved and fearful. An abusive environment is certainly no way for a child to grow-up. Children have the right to a safe and nurturing environment.
